After a thrilling weekend, Men's co-Club Captain James Ballard looks ahead

Players and supporters of Hampstead,

A great weekend of games for ladies day which saw three teams at home on Fortress Heath. Wet weather was no deterrent and supporters were out in force for the 1s, 2s and 3s against Grasshoppers, Rosslyn Park and London Kiwis respectively. Big thank you to everyone who brought down prosecco and to friends and partners who came down and showed their support. The ladies will return the favour with Gentlemen's Day which will come in the spring, as gentlemen prefer to do their drinking in the sun (date TBC).

IMPORTANT
All payments to the club (membership and match fees) should now be processed via the links on the club website (click on the 'Payments' section on the clubs website), if you are on the old direct debit system please sign up to payments through this link and the club will cancel your old DD as the new system comes online. I know it seems like a hassle but it should only take 5 minutes and it means that the club will be able to focus it's finances for the benefit of all of us. We are hoping to complete the transition by Christmas so please, get on it!

SOCIAL SIDE
Pub Golf is the next social on the itinerary on the 27th of October (get it in your diaries) with a pub quiz hot on its heels on the 9th of November at the Gypsy Queen in NW5 and Carol Crawl on the 15th of December. These are big nights out and always a lot of fun so do come along!

Another big weekend ahead so keep your Pitchero availability updated! For those of you not on Pitchero please contact your captain or myself and we will get you on there. Next weeks games are;

Saturday:
Hampstead 1XV v Hackney 1XV - Away

Hampstead 2XV v Hackney 2XV - Home

Hampstead 4XV v London Welsh Occies - Home

Sunday:

Hampstead U13 v Old Albanians - Away

Hampstead U14 v Bishop's Stortford - Away

Lets keep this momentum and bring home the wins next weekend!

James Ballard, Men's Co-Club Captain
