A brilliant celebration of the club's 50 years took place last Saturday. With many an old boy & girl returning, to join the current throng, it really felt a special occasion. With big George organising the band, Simon Lee spinning the decks & Debs brilliant organisation, everyone had smiles on their faces well into the early hours.

Simon Taylor welcomed all with a toast to sadly departed club founder Mike Flynn. He also briefly reflected on the journey the club has been on over the last few years, with maintaining 5 mens sides and the introduction of the Ladies and the Junior sections.

There were prizes handed out, with Debs & Andy MkEwan justly being rewarded with their respective sections's club people of the year. There was also presentations to departing Chairman Simon Taylor, for 11 years of service and to THE stalwart of the club, El Presidente, Roger Dearling, who also steps down after an amazing 28 years at the helm.
