Hires part of Club strategy to develop strength and depth of squad players

Hampstead RFC is looking for two Player-Coaches for the remainder of the 2017-2018 season with an option to extend the contract to the 2018-2019 season.

The Club is looking for a Backs Coach and Forwards Coach to work under Head Coach Peter Breen and to help develop Hampstead’s brand of attractive, attacking rugby. There is funding available for remuneration in accordance with RFU regulations 7.2.

The candidates do not have to have taken their level 2 exams, however, they would be expected to take such courses during their time at the club (full remuneration).
The positions would ideally suit an experienced player from Level 5 or above looking to move into coaching whilst extending his playing career. It could also suit an ambitious coach looking to develop a growing talent pool of enthusiastic, ambitious players at one of North London’s leading clubs.

The candidates should possess a passion for developing people and players, team performance and all aspects of rugby within the club. They will assist Peter during weekly training sessions, and take specialist sessions focused on the technical and tactical development of players in the 1st & 2nd squads from which the 1st XV team is drawn.

The Club has use of excellent outdoor facilities, with a floodlit training area at Hampstead Heath, and modern, all-weather facilities in north London.

Applicants should make their application, including CV, in writing to peter@hampsteadrugbyclub.co.uk
