“Battle is the great redeemer. The fiery crucible in which the only true heroes are forged.”
Farell from Edge of Tomorrow
Spring is coming!!! Generally means muddy fields and dirty clothes.
There are changing rooms available beside the cafe if people need to change after the session. Don't wear muddy boots into the changing rooms please as mud will just come off and the Parkies will rightly get annoyed at constant cleaning required.
There is a hose and brush available at the lockup for you to clean your boots.
Important to note that you SHOULD NOT clean your boots in the showers or sinks in the changing rooms.
- As the weather gets colder it's important to make sure everyone has enough layers to train properly and stay warm.
- We train in all weathers.
- No zips, buttons or anything else that could cause an issue in contact please.
The Pitchero club app is now accurate for all age groups, and training and fixtures updates will always be available there. Look at the schedule tab for your child and the details will be there. Make sure you note location in case training has moved from the norm which happens sometimes.
Let the coaching team know when your kid is coming to training and their availability for games using the app, it's a simple 30 second job and really helps out.
Our Juniors section has teams from u7 - u17 and a very successful Girls section. HRFC also team up with Ruggerbugs for u6s.
If your child would like to give rugby a try, come join us at Hampstead Rugby Club on a Saturday morning, talk to one of the coaches or team managers and have them join in. All they need to bring are boots, suitable clothing without zips or buttons and a mouthguard (which are also available to buy at a reasonable price in our club cafe).
The club is always looking for volunteers to help these budding internationals. If you'd like to get involved there are lots of ways in which we could do with your help. No experience required, we're an all inclusive club who are doing our best for the kids.
Junior season ends with the traditional bash on Sat May 11th 2019 where we go over all the good things that the teams achieved throughout the season.
