As of the date of publishing this article we have 142 parents (+122 players, which we can assume is their parent willing to help) who have indicated on Pitchero that they wouldn't mind helping out in the club in some way. There are lot's of things that people can help with, with a range of commitment. Many hands make light work.
So how do you find out if someone has expressed an interest in helping. Well one obvious way is to ask while at training.
Another way is to use the information in Pitchero to target people who have already said they might be willing to help when they signed up for the club. Obviously some of these people are already volunteering, and some may have changed their minds since signing up. But it's a good place to start.
Using the Pitchero Membership Database to find possible helpers
It would be great if each Junior TM could go through the above steps, contact the relevant parents in their group, and ask if they are still willing to help. The Volunteer page gives some ideas.
For people who have changed their mind, switch off the Junior Help option in their record, and make a note that they were contacted about helping out and what the outcome was in the {Coach/TM notes} field.
If they would like to help, then arrange to introduce them to Simon at training on a Saturday and we can get the ball rolling on them volunteering.
