Bring along a new player for any u13 - u17 team (boys & girls) and get £20 voucher

For this Rugby World Cup year, we are trying something new to recruit in the older age groups that sometimes have had challenges with numbers. So for any Junior player who brings someone down to play for Hampstead RFC for any team u13 - u17 they will get a £20 voucher as a thank you.

The main conditions are:

  • The new player and a parent pay their membership dues for the year
  • They come to training and are available for a game
  • It is a new player who hasn't played for HRFC in the last 2 seasons (2017/18, 2018/19)
  • This is only for new players for u13, u14, u15, u16 & u17 & Girls teams for 2019/20 season
  • The referrer player and parent have paid their dues for the 2019/20 season

Other conditions:

  • This will be a voucher only incentive, it will not be paid in cash
  • The new player needs to be introduced to the Team Manager by the existing HRFC player at training on a Saturday
  • The £20 will be paid once the new player and one of their parents pay their membership
  • This scheme will run until the end of January 2020
  • The new player will only play in a game when the coaches believe it is safe to do so, but attendance at games to support their team is expected

Team Managers - what do you have to do?
Not much really!!!

  1. Ensure that the new player and parent sign up to Pitchero (Go to the Website and click the white {JOIN} button in the top right corner)
  2. On the Membership database for the new player there is a TM/Coaches notes field - put "Referred by [name of the existing junior player] on [date of first training]" and hit the 'Save' button
  3. Email Alan Sewell & John McGuinness know the name of the new player and that they are in the bounty scheme
  4. Help the new player fit into the team and enjoy rugby (APES) !!!

The Junior Treasurer will sort out the vouchers when the new player and parent have paid their club dues.

Note, if the new player is part of the community outreach programme for the club and a deal is requested on their club membership, then the voucher will still be paid for the successful reference in line with the conditions above. Discuss with a Senior Junior Club member in all cases where there may be hardship issues. We as a club are always keen to promote playing rugby for all in the community.
