I’m really proud to share that the Hampstead RFC Men’s Section has officially secured a main sponsor for the upcoming 2025/26 season – The Roebuck!(NW3)

This partnership is the result of months of work in the offseason by the club, to strengthen links with our local community and build sustainable support for the club. It all started earlier this year with the Sponsorship Walk through Hampstead and the surrounding areas, where we visited local businesses and pubs to spread the word about what we do and how they could get involved. A mixed response was received but it was worth it in the end!

From the first meeting, Harry Ward and the team at The Roebuck were incredibly supportive and keen to make this partnership work. They share our values around community, teamwork, and creating a welcoming environment — so it feels like a perfect fit. Harry is a local and truly values the role a main sponsorship can bring to amateur sport.

As part of the agreement, The Roebuck will feature on the front of the Men’s 1st XV shirts and host all post-match socials for home games throughout the season for the men’s section. We are also very proud to say that ALL HRFC Members will also enjoy an exclusive drinks discount when they visit, and we’ll be hosting plenty of club events there across the year.

On a personal note, I’m genuinely thrilled that the men’s section has secured such a strong partner. This deal represents a big step forward in our aim to make the section financially sustainable, and it sets the tone for how we want to work with local businesses going forward — building relationships that support both the club and our wider community.

It also sends a clear message that Hampstead RFC aren’t going anywhere — we’re a historic club with deep roots, and we intend to be here for a long time to come.
