Following a frustrating home defeat to Blackheath in their previous match, Hampstead Ladies were looking to get back to winning ways away to Chesham. It was a demonstration of the teams favoured styles. Chesham showed their strength up front with strong scrummaging leading to tries at the start and end of the first half. Hampstead responded through their fast and expansive game with a hat-trick for winger Soukaina Trouiller. The visitors added more scores in the second half with fast thinking from scrum half Rachel Grovenor and Laura Shrum making a stand out break from inside her own half, side-stepping her way through the defence to touch down before the final whistle. The final score was 27-10 to Hampstead.
