After a minute's silence before kick off, they were pumped and raring to go.

Hampstead went ahead quickly with a strong run from Rachel Berry who offloaded out of the tackle to Noemie Levy who sprinted over the line, with Keshia Evans making the conversion look effortless.

This was shortly followed with another strong run from Rachel. This time her offload found Ciara McGowan in support who provided the perfect finish.

An unexpected kick from Harlow put Hampstead under pressure. Player from both teams chased down the loose ball but it rolled over the line and was grounded by Harlow.

Hampstead continued to play a fast-paced game, linking up well with each other in attack. Rachel had another great run as she stormed past several players then cut back in to catch the opposition on the wrong foot and score.

After some well organised work by the forward pack to move the ball down the pitch, Barabara Sike took a quick tap penalty and made an amazing run to score.

Lou Clarke made an excellent run from deep in Hampstead's half but was taken down by a Harlow player just short of the try line. Thankfully Noemie was close behind to scoop up the ball and carry it over the line for her second of the day, converted by Keshia. Seconds after the restart there was no stopping a determined Lou this time as she fought off a multitude of Harlow players to score a well deserved try.

Harlow's back line linked up well to move the ball wide and with Hampstead struggling to defend they scored a well deserved try.

Hampstead responded with some great phases of play and well timed passes along the back line to find Lou on the Wing who sprinted over the line.

They didn't have to wait long for another try as Ciara touched down her second, again converted by Keshia.

Harlow were awarded a penalty and kicked to touch close to the try line. The line out was taken into driving mall and despite a strong counter effort from Hampstead they were eventually pushed back over their line.

Newcomer Cat Knudtzon showed excellent pace to beat the defence and score, ending the game 55-22.

Forward of the match went to Harriet Stickland who was unstoppable in attack, gaining ground with consistently powerful runs. Back of the match went to Alice Davis who played almost every position on the pitch but nailed all of them!
