Hampstead U9s at Bank of England

We were really lucky with the weather and it was a pleasure to play on such great pitches and come home relatively clean for once!

We had mixed results; some fantastic wins with really effective teamwork leading to some brilliant tries and we also had some tough losses. Those losses while tough will serve as a great learning experience and we have plenty to focus on before the big festivals (Middlesex & Saracens) in March & London Irish in April.

The boys should be proud of themselves; their effort and attitude was as always brilliant especially when faced with opposing teams constantly fending off and contesting the ball by grabbing it & blocking passes, and not being pulled up on it.

We now have several weeks before our next match to focus on the basics and build on team confidence.
